About Us

Tomás founded Walsh Tiling & Bathroom Renovations after returning from Australia in 2010

My journey began as a tiling apprentice in 2002 for (Ryantile ltd) getting my qualifications in Wall & Floor Tiling with Merit in 2007 while continuing to work for Ryantile ltd until 2009 when I left for Australia.

I worked tiling for a Plumbing Company in Australia. While tiling I was adapting my knowledge of the basics of plumbing in bathrooms and fit-outs with the highly skilled bathroom fitters.

Working closely with my Boss “Peter” I learned the process of organizing all aspects of jobs from start to finish, during this period I embraced the process of completely transforming a bathroom into the cozy environment of your dreams.

After returning home in 2010 I started the process of creating my own company, starting with Tiling and progressing into full Bathroom Renovations.

We are lucky to have a great team behind us now that always strives to do the best work possible and we try to maintain a happy life and work balance as the majority of us have young families.

We hope to continue to grow and provide the excellent service our customers have become accustomed to.

We provide services to Meath, Dublin and surrounding areas.

At Walsh Tiling we provide complete bathroom renovations, domestic tiling such as kitchens, floors, hallways and commercial tiling.


We first arrange a home consultation where we will measure the area and run through what you want done and any ideas you have.

Then we will provide you with a quotation and if you’re happy to proceed then we will arrange a start date with you.

No, if there is items you wish to purchase yourself you can but we do recommend us supplying everything as if there is any issues with an item we can deal with the suppliers to resolve the matter whereas if we didn’t supply it, it would be out of our hands.

Of course any changes you want can be made, final decisions would have to be made 2-3 weeks prior to the start date so materials can be ordered.

It depends on size, items wanted etc but generally a standard bathroom renovation starts from €8500 – €10,000 but it varies on the type of finish required.

We provide a full itemised quotation.

Generally we are booked 3-4 months in advance for work to commence and it can be similar for call out appointments but a member of our team would be able to inform you with available dates for both call outs and start dates.

Most bathroom layouts can be altered but a member of the team would be able to advise you on the best layout that would suit the size and the shape of the room to get the best use of the space.

A typical bathroom renovation would take 6-7 working days from start to finish.
